If you want beautiful straight teeth without traditional metal braces, Invisalign clear aligners are an advanced orthodontic teeth straightening system. Using the latest cosmetic dental technology, a series of custom-made, transparent aligners that are comfortable and removable are created for you.
Invisalign clear aligners gently and effectively straighten your teeth. They are commonly used for adults and teens who have gaps between their teeth, crowded teeth, cross-bite, overbite or under-bite issues.
The Invisalign Process
The start of the treatment process begins with a consultation. As an Invisalign-trained dentist, Dr Mark Calvert will begin by taking a 3D image of your mouth and jaw, then develops a personalised treatment plan right in front of your eyes! Using the 3D model, we show you the predicted position your teeth will be in after the Invisalign treatment.
The treatment plan will then be used to create your customised clear aligners, gradually moving your teeth into the desired positions.
Your customised clear aligners will take 2 weeks to be manufactured and we organise for you to come in and collect your first batch (usually 3-4 sets at a time).
You'll come by our studio every 6-8 weeks for a quick check-up, to monitor your progress and collect your next batch of aligners.

Invisalign clear aligners may not be suitable for everyone. Since the aligners are removable, the treatment requires a higher level of discipline and commitment from the patient compared to more traditional braces.

PRINCIPAL DENTIST
Dr Mark runs and owns our clinic. After 14 years in private practice in the UK, Mark moved to sunny Brisbane in 2014. Our resident pome has earned a reputation for providing dental care with a difference. He builds trust by taking the time to listen and educate his patients so they understand their options and are comfortable, knowing they are in control. Predominantly a family dentist, Dr Mark also specialises in migraine management, sleep medicine, cosmetic dental, and Invisalign clear aligner treatment. When Mark is not at work, he enjoys exploring his adopted Queensland with his wife and two young sons. He loves to keep fit and having recently taken up fishing, he has worked out why it’s not called ‘catching’!

Merthyr Village is located just down the road from New Farm Park. We have free on-site parking that can be accessed from Merthyr Road, Brunswick Street or Welsby Street.
Bus stops 11 and 14 are located adjacent to Merthyr Village on Merthyr Road and Brunswick Street.
New Farm Park, Sydney Street and Tenerife ferry terminals are located a short walk, ride or bus from Merthyr Village.
